Founded as Michelson Alexander in 2017 by communications strategist, campaigner and lawyer, Steve Michelson, our growing team of specialists have been busy delivering social impact on behalf of organisations across the country.
Over the past several months, led by Head of Creative Jack Angliss, our team has also been diligently working on a new identity that reflects the evolution of our company and the values we hold dear.
Accordingly, as of Monday 29 January, Michelson Alexander became Banksia Strategic Partners.
Why the New Name for Michelson Alexander?
The Banksia plant is associated with resilience and adaptability with banksia seed pods opening during or soon after fire to release new growth. Just like the plant, we thrive when supporting clients through complex and high-pressure situations. The Banksia genus is also diverse, with a wide range of species that can grow in harsh and varied environments. This versatility and flexibility echoes the fact that we come from diverse working backgrounds and adapt to our clients’ markets.
This rebranding is not just a change in name, logo and colours; it represents a renewed commitment to providing you with the highest level of service, innovation, and excellence in achieving results driven social impact.
We believe this rebrand showcases our dedication to growth, innovation, and continuous improvement. It’s also a nod to our Australian roots without being obnoxiously patriotic.
